Rules and Regulations

The Sale:

Each horse will available for trial rides from 10am-12:30pm.

- At 1pm each horse will be brought into the arena one at a time and demonstrated to all potential buyers incase someone did not get a chance to see it earlier. 

- After its demonstration ride all potential owners interested in the horse will talk to the owner about price and determine who wants it the most. 

- Once an new owner has been selected you can then talk about payment and pickup. 

- Sunrise Meadows will keep a record of all new owners and agreed upon price. 

 

Sunrise Meadows:

- Will provide the facilities for all horses. including stalls, paddocks and indoor arena for the owners and potential buyers to meet in exchange for a 5% commission of all horses sold. 

- Will not be responsible for any injury to persons who are either selling, trying out or bidding on a horse or any persons accompanying them, or their properties. 

Horse Sellers:

- Must register at the office upon arrival and sign the appropriate waivers.

- Will be available to demonstrate their horse and supervise any trial rides. 

- Will have the right to refuse a buyer if they don’t think they are suitable for their horse.

- Will deal with all potential buyers during the sale and receive their money directly from the buyer according to the method of payment the buyer and seller have agreed upon. 

- After their horse has been sold and payment received they will send 5% to Sunrise Meadows as agreed for holding the sale. 

 

Horse Buyers:

- Must register at the office upon arrival and sign the appropriate waivers.

- Will receive a buyers slip to show to owners for proof of eligibility.

- Will be agreeable towards each other and to the owners at the time of the sale.  The person willing to pay the most and is an acceptable match for the horse will then make arrangements with the owner for payment and pickup.
